Logan Lerman, best known for his role in the Percy Jackson franchise, was recently confirmed for the role of D’Artagnan in the Summit Entertainment production of Alexandre Dumas’ The Three Musketeers. He’ll be joining Oscar winner Christoph Waltz and Orlando Bloom among others in the 3D remake.
THR is reporting that Paul W.S. Anderson (“Resident Evil”) will be taking on the project in hopes of creating what sounds to be a period piece with a modern twist. Filming is set for later this year with a scheduled 2011 release.
