First Still of Nicholas Hoult in ‘Warm Bodies’

January 9, 2012

Collider.com has released the first still from the zombie love story Warm Bodies, an adaptation of the novel by Isaac Marion. The film stars Nicholas Hoult as ‘R,’ a zombie, who eventually falls in love with a human named Julie, played by Teresa Palmer. The film was directed by Jonathan Levine of 50/50 fame, which makes me extremely excited since I loved that film! What do you think of this first glimpse of R in Warm Bodies?

Kimmy is a 22 year old nerdfighter and artist who is the founder and editor-in-chief of Page to Premiere. When she's not writing about books and movies here or on her Hunger Games site called Mockingjay.net, she loves creating original content at her magazine and production company JØLVIE, manically Tumblr-ing, eating sushi, drinking Thai iced tea, and being lazy with her cat Rue! She hopes to be a published author one day. You can follow her on Twitter at @kimmymary.

Well I loved Warm bodies, and after seeing a picture of him(as R) and Teresa Palmer (as Julie), before this I was a little bit worried, because it looked really cheesy.

But this picture looks really good, and I hope they do a good job with it.

How could you have seen a picture…if this is the first image from the film?
The other image you saw was probably fanmade xDD

He still looks very much alive. I hope this isn’t what he’ll actually look like throughout the movie. I know he wasn’t as dead as the others or his friend, but still. I hope they do more to him.

  • Actually….. not

“notmyname” was actually referring to a picture of both of them (Teresa Palmer and Nicholas Hoult) wherein they were posing twilight style. Like the spider-monkey thing from Twilight. It’s an official picture. These pictures are more like stills from the movie.
BTW, These pics are AWESOME!! So excited for the movie!

Woah! He’s definitely got the whole zombie thing nailed. Have yet to read the book though.
