The Chronicles of Narnia

‘The Selection’ Taps William Moseley for Aspen

William Moseley (Peter Pevensie in the Narnia movies) has been chosen to fill the role of Aspen in the WB television adaptation of Kiera Cass’ upcoming novel The Selection. The story centers on America Singer (Aimee Teegarden), a poor young woman chosen by lottery to participate in a competition to marry Prince Maxon (Ethan Peck) and become the next queen of a war-torn nation. Aspen is (based on my limited knowledge of the book) America’s crush when she is chosen for the competition and is whisked away from him.

You can pre-order your copy of Kiera Cass’ The Selection on Amazon.

oh Aspen is not just her crush. This is the guy she plans to marry – they’re in love, planning their future together. (1st five chapters are posted on facebook – definitely worth reading, can’t wait for the whole thing)

Cool! I’ve never seen him in anything but Narnia, but I think he’ll make a good Aspen.

He should be Maxon, a blond and beautiful young man ! Aspen has brown hair and green eyes in the book, he can’t be Aspen ! (by the way Ethan Peck is Maxon ? It’s a joke right ?! The opposite of Maxon’s description, and he hasn’t any charm !)
