Countdown to ‘Forever’ – Fans Remember ‘The Twilight Saga’ & Enter To Win Awesome Prizes (Week 2)

October 11, 2012

As we countdown to the premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2,” we are asking for your help to relive the memories!  Each Thursday we will propose a question related to The Twilight Saga experience and we are looking for your answers.  Our team will be sharing our memories as well.

We’ll highlight some of our favorite answers from each week when it gets closer to the premiere.

Along the way we will be cleaning out our prize closet! Each week we’ll draw a name from the submitted answers to win a prize.  Also, if your answer is chosen to be featured in the wrap up article, you will be getting a prize, too!    We have lots of great prizes to give away including Tonner dolls, Twilight jewelry,  tote bags, t-shirts, posters sets and so much more!  If you get picked to receive a prize your prize will be selected by random drawing in November.

We loved the enthusiasm and great responses for Week 1 and look forward to highlighting some of our favorites next month.  In the meantime, congrats to Melissa Jamison for being a random drawing winner for Week one.

Do you have a burning question for Stephenie Meyer?  If you have read the Twilight series chances are you have many.  But if you had the chance to ask her one question, what would it be?

Here’s what our team would ask:

Amy (@OhMyCarlisle)

Why is Carlisle’s car in Washington state when the Cullen’s are living in Ithaca, NY?

It drives me crazy every time I read ‘New Moon.’  The Cullen’s had moved to Ithaca, New York.  They were visiting the Denali’s in Alaska when Alice had the vision of Bella jumping off a cliff.  Alice said she flew to down from Alaska.  Shouldn’t Carlisle’s Mercedes be in New York state?

If you could go back and choose whether or not to have this whole crazy explosion in popularity, would you have it happen again?

Since Stephenie’s personal life has been so affected by this experience, I wonder if she would decide to have it happen again. Since she seems like a pretty private person, and spent a lot of time hiding away during the franchise’s peak popularity. However, it’s also given her so much, and now she’s producing films and her novel ‘The Host,’ is also being turned into a film. Who knows!

Submit your one burning question for Stephenie Meyer in the comments below. Make sure you register so we can get in touch with you.

Please note that all prizes will be mailed after the movie premieres in the U.S. on November 16.

Kimmy is a 22 year old nerdfighter and artist who is the founder and editor-in-chief of Page to Premiere. When she's not writing about books and movies here or on her Hunger Games site called Mockingjay.net, she loves creating original content at her magazine and production company JØLVIE, manically Tumblr-ing, eating sushi, drinking Thai iced tea, and being lazy with her cat Rue! She hopes to be a published author one day. You can follow her on Twitter at @kimmymary.
