So many fantastic cast member moments in Week 5! Devon Cucarese was week five’s random drawing winner who’s favorite cast member moment was meeting Kellan Lutz at a Twilight Convention.  Our Jamba Juice bracelet set winner is Maritza Velazquez who met Charlie Bewley and Daniel Cudmore last week as part of a radio promotion in Chicago.

This week (WEEK 6) 0ur question is:  WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TWILIGHT EXPERIENCE/ MEMORY?

What memory will you take with you? Was it a trip to Forks?  Meeting your favorite cast member?  Meeting the person who is now  your best friend? Finishing reading the books for the first time?  What moment will stick with you forever?  Tell us and you will be entered to win some great Twilight prizes (see the rules below).

Our team shares their personal favorite cast member moments below:

I’ve had some amazing moments, but the most incredible was a moment was with Stephenie Meyer. I met Stephenie very briefly at ‘Breaking Dawn, Part 1’ premiere camp.  At Comic Con this summer she came out to meet fans when she got me she looked at me and said, “We’ve met before.” I was shocked and said something about being at premiere camp. She looked at me, smiled and said, “I remember you.” I then got a chance to talk with her and most importantly thank you for having a dream because it is the reason we are all here.  When it was all done I cried.  Her dream is the reason for so many wonderful people and moments in my life and I am so grateful for it.

My favorite personal ‘Twilight’ experience memory would have to be going to the set of ‘New Moon.’ We got to speak to all the cast members on set: Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Chaske Spencer, Gil Birmingham, among others. We also had a long chat with the director, Chris Weitz, who was so genuine and kind to us. It was my first set-visit experience and I was just so incredibly excited, it’s a dream come true for a fan to be able to go on the actual set of a film they love. It was my first and only time ever meeting Kristen Stewart as well, who I’m a huge fan of, so I was definitely star struck! Just seeing it all happening, and being able to watch a scene actually unfold before my eyes as it was shot, was just incredible.

We’ll highlight some of our favorite answers from each week when it gets closer to the premiere.

My favorite Twilight experience was meeting Jackson Rathbone! He hung out with us for an hour and was smoking a cigarette with this awesome hat on. He took lots of pictures with us and told us about a bar that he liked down the way. He was so silly and funny. He started to talk like jasper on eclipse and i thought i was going to die! It was so nice to meet a star that treated us like a buddy.

My favorite Twilight memory.. That’s a tough one. I’m gonna have to call it a tie between two. The first one is when I went to audition for this quiz-show and my theme was Twilight. All the candidates had to go through this test and an interview. The whole thing took quite a while, so I had the chance to talk to a lot of other fans. We discussed the books, the first movie (the other ones had not come out yet) and how we got into the saga in the first place. So much fun! The second one is when I won tickets to go see Robert Pattinson and Ashley Greene in Stockholm. It’s a bittersweet memory, because I didn’t have the chance to actually go. But the excitement I felt when I opened that e-mail, and my name was listed among the winners, was really something.
It’s so surreal that this will all be coming to an end soon, considering Twilight has become such a big part of my life over the past years. It never really will be over though, because we’ll still have the books and movies.

I will always remember the second love of my life. Edward Cullen. I have never been so much in love with a series of books as I was with Twilight. I will never forget the 4 days I spent reading all those books. Finishing one at 3 in the morning only to wake up and rush to buy the next one. To my husband asking if there was anything wrong with me when I finished reading them all and got really melancholic. How could I tell him that for the second time in my life I was in love?

I’ll admit to being an “adult” fan of the series. Books or films- I love everything! When I moved into a new condo, my first , second, and third gatherings were with friends to watch the DVDs in a weekly marathon leading up to the release of Breaking Dawn Part 1. The funny thing is that I went to a party store and got Twilight themed napkins, plates, tablecloth, center pieces — bookmarks and rings – just all sorts of things that are probably meant for a tween birthday party. I didn’t care. When the guests arrived to find Twizzlers, Italian food, and blood red drinks- they just cracked up! Best thing was no one wanted to put the saucy food on the plates- they didn’t want to blemish Edward’s or Jacob’s face!!

I don’t have anything to share nearly as awesome an anyone else, but my memory is special to me. My girlfriend is chronically ill, and when she read and watched Twilight, she said it made her feel better, and I lived 2,500 miles away at that point. One of the first days I moved here, we watched Twilight together, and the look on her face was priceless.

The memory I will take with me forever is making friends my freshmen year of highschool through this book. And then going to the movies with friends for the first time, to see twilight. I will never forget sitting in the middle and taking in the world that Stephenie Meyer created on paper. Then seeing the world recreated on film from the vision of Catherine Hardwicke. Now I’m going to see the last film while I’m in my freshmen year of College and it almost seems full circle to me. The books were an escape for me and helped me make friends. And I will always remember my first experience to movies wih friends, being that the movie was twilight just makes it more special.

  • Rachel McMahon

My favorite Twilight memory is attending one of the fan conventions in Atlanta in Summer ’09 before New Moon came out. I got to meet, Kellan Lutz, Billy Burke, Ashley Greene, and Peter Facinelli. It is an experience I will never forget and I am glad they were the ones that brought our characters to life on the screen.

  • Lauren

Even though I was never able to go anywhere and meet the cast, my favorite memory was always keeping up with everything online; watching interviews, clips, etc. It made me feel like I was truly a part of the whole experience even if I couldn’t afford to go.
