‘Spider-Man’, ‘Ender’s Game,’ and ‘Carrie’ earn covers of this week’s ‘Entertainment Weekly’ Comic-Con preview

The upcoming Amazing Spider-Man sequel is featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly this week! On the film, director Mark Webb says, “People aren’t scared. With the first one I felt it was important to retell that origin story. But that was kind of brutal because people were so familiar with it. Now that the origin story is done? We’re off to the races. It’s incredibly liberating.”

Two other notable book to screen adaptations, Carrie and Ender’s Game, also earned bonus covers. How awesome do these films look? I can’t wait to see everything there is to see about them at Comic-Con! The remake adaptation of Stephen King’s Carrie stars Chloe Grace Moretz in the title role of the shy, telekinetic outcast. In the film version of Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card, Asa Butterfield stars as a genius child soldier chosen to save the world from an alien invasion.

Ender’s Game:

Kimmy is a 21 year old nerdfighter who is the founder and editor-in-chief of Page to Premiere. When she's not writing about books and movies here or on her Hunger Games site called Mockingjay.net, she loves Tumblr-ing, eating sushi, drinking Thai iced tea, and being lazy with her cat Rue! She hopes to be a published author one day. You can follow her on Twitter at @kimmymary.
