Extended promo for ‘The Vampire Diaries’ S05E04 ‘For Whom The Bell Tolls’

The Other Side hath no fury like a witch scorned. The third episode of The Vampire Diaries season 5, Original Sin, had Qetsiyah back in action. The elusive Tessa (Janina Gavankar) turns out to be the ancient Greek witch who froze Silas thousands of years ago.

And she revealed one of the most crazy things we’ve seen in this show so far: Silas’s one true love is Amara, the original Petrova doppleganger!!! Yes, I just used three exclamation points because this moment was epic if you’ve, like me, been obsessed with this show since it first came on-air. Nature brings dopplegangers together, is what follows.

It’s going to be really interesting to watch how this pans out, given that Stefan doesn’t remember “who you people are” after Qetsiyah’s witchy stuff. The next episode will have Elena on her own emotional journey as she and Damon help Stefan through this confusing time.

CW has released stills and an extended promo for the next episode, For Whom The Bell Tolls:
