‘Batman vs. Superman’ movie pushed to 2016

Variety announced the date change for the untitled Batman vs. Superman movie. The studio has pushed back the movie almost a full year later then when it was promised to come out to May 6, 2016. It’s earlier release date would have been combating with Avengers: Age of Ultron only a month earlier, so the studio made a smart decision and saved both projects from their ultimate box office war.

See ya next year Superman! 2015 is mine!

Another rumor has been going around from Batman News that dur to Ben Affleck’s leg injury, production was pushed to 2016:

According to my source, Ben Affleck has sustained a leg injury, and as a result Batman vs. Superman production has been pushed back six weeks. The crew was informed of that decision earlier this week, and told they’ll be on hiatus for about a month.

Batman vs. Superman is still on track with Henry Cavill reprising his role as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne, and Diane Lane, with new comer Gal Gadot stepping up to the plate as Wonder Woman. The live-action version of the Peter Pan tale, known as Pan, is set to take Batman vs. Superman’s spot on June 17, 2015.

Gosh dang it, I was hoping they’d just stick to the plan… The Flash was meant to come out in 2016. There’s no way it’s going to happen now with them focusing on Batman vs. Superman… I’ve been waiting for the Flash for Several years now! They say it’ll come out in between this movie and the Justice League movie… great, a whole ‘nother year I have to wait… =,= I don’t even like the Avengers… >,<

*A hush descends upon the room as we watch DC and WB crumble under the own unpreparedness and stupidity….*
Friggin idiots. Man of Steel was released last year, 2013, and they want all these fans to wait 3 YEARS for the sequel.
MoS is either loved or hated by those who have seen it, compared to Marvel movies where majority of people enjoy the movies, therefore Marvel sequels build upon a more solid foundation. BvS is building upon a varied response MoS which could end up being it’s downfall with this delay.
