That’s a wrap on the 50 Shades of Grey set on February 23rd in Vancouver, Canada. The author, E.L. James, tweeted a photo of her and the director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, of the film that night at the wrap party saying, “And that’s a wrap…” Then added, “The night is young, one of us is drinking… it’s a wrap.” Thanks to HNGN.
Sources say that the filming process was ahead of schedule and going very smoothly. This had fan’s interest peaked for an early trailer. Although editing does take a while, the film is currently in post production, and a trailer will hopefully drop in the next few months. The director has said in the past that the movie will not be as erotic as the book, but audiences will still be pleased with the outcome.
Dakota Johnson has said that everyone has been pleasant on set and she’s excited for the future of the film. Johnson mentioned this in her recent Vanity Fair interview:
“It’s been a very smooth, fun and creative experience. I think going into something like this you kind of have all these different fears of what it could be like, and none of those things are happening,” she said “We all get along really well, the crew is amazing and we’re just all trying to make this project the best that it can be.”
50 Shades of Grey will be released on February 13, 2015.
