It appears that Fifty Shades of Grey footage was shown at CinemaCon! This is the first footage from the raunchy adaptation of the erotic novel by E.L. James. Unfortunately since we were not attendees, we don’t get to see the footage. However, JustJared has provided a description of what he saw:

It seems that the footage was more on the PG-13 side, perhaps to not scare away any of the movie theater owners who made up the bulk of the audience. The clips played up the romance between Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson), rather than the sex scenes. Some reporters were even comparing it to the classic movie Love Story.

The footage began with Christian and Ana meeting in his office before cutting to a clip of her telling her friend how hot he is. The romance scenes began after that and included scenes with Dakota wearing a blindfold in a red room and also Jamie pushing her up against a wall.

Does this sound like a movie you’d go see in theaters?

He’ll no. The books are pathetically written and the movie has a no-name cast.

Hell no the books are shite and the movie has a weak cast. I’m not wasting an hour and a half or 9 bucks on that mess.

Lol no, I think the cast is pretty good and that the movie won’t be half bad, but what I’ve heard happens in the book is not something I’d like to see on a huge screen…
