Consensus? I’m going to see it. However, Chloe is not my Mia, and I doubt she ever will be. It’s not like she was bad at acting in this. It literally is just how young she looks–I could never imagine she’d be 18 years old from watching this, and she isn’t. She’s 17, and I think that the casting director needed to find someone slightly older or looks slightly older, simply because Chloe looks 15 or so onscreen. I could never for a single moment believe she’s supposed to be 18 here.
I’m disappointed, yes, but it seems they’ve got a great supporting cast.

Isn’t Mia 17 at the time of the accident? – yes I just Google it and Mia is 17! Here’s what I think, people are used to seeing 20-somethings playing teens that went an actual teen gets the job they suddenly look to “young”… I blame Hollywood!

She’s about to turn 18 and go off to college. Plus, Chloe kind of has a baby face, which works for some roles, but for this, makes her look extremely young. Too young.
